Xperia Z1s: Drop test?

Anybody given the Z1s a good drop test yet? I'm thinking about running without a case since the tech 21 covers up the magnetic charging port... I bought a off-brand charging dock on amazon (works great) and am tiring of every night pulling it out of the case.

Android Authority did a drop test with the Z1 and the screen didn't break.

I've had mine drop accidentally 4 or 5 times from about 3ft (off the recliner) no cracks.
