Yahoo email not syncing

Any suggestions. Itt syncs on tab 3 and laptop, but on s3. It will only sync if i delete email address out and reinstall. So it syncs once then not again

Same here using Aqua mail. It seems to be a problem with Yahoo.

Have you disabled any built in Apps, like Kies Air?

I had to install "smooth sync for yahoo" and "smooth sync for cloud". And the Yahoo mail app. Prior to that my email would sync one way if at all.

After one wk of no emails and after reseting the phone, but stiill not syncing it finally synced. It obviously was yahoo

I was never able to get the Yahoo app to work at all. Neither mine or my Wife's phone.

I have encountered different syncing issues with the yahoo app as well. If I clear my inbox, it continued to sync and never stops. Hoping that an update fixes these problems.

Has anyone found a solution to Yahoo email not syncing with galaxy email app? Everything was syncing fine until 4.3 update. Samsung rep's solution was to put 4.4.2 on my phone, and now random emails will sync. The syncing problem is that the phone does not indicate if a message has been read or replied to; if I read or reply from the phone, my computer and tablet are synced and know that the message has been read and/or replied to. Samsung rep has no idea why this is happening - some messages viewed on the phone are synced when replying or reading from other devices; and other messages on the phone show they are unread and not replied to even if I did either/both from another device. I have Sprint. I've cleared cache and data multiple times which deleted all email accounts; I've reinstalled all email accounts and have verified the setting are correct. I have no problem getting emails downloaded to my phone - it's just not syncing to show emails are read and/or replied to - only randomly.

Never heard of Aqua Mail, but just installed it on my phone. Set up 2 accounts (Yahoo business and personal) and both seem to be syncing fine. I'll play with it and see if it continues. Still bothers me that I can't figure out why the samsung native email app suddenly stopped syncing after 4.3 update, and still won't sync even after samsung rep installed 4.2.2.

Yahoo app doesn't allow me to get to my business email - my business email uses my domain name, not yahoo.com.

The problem is with Yahoo. Ever since they instituted the new email system, there have been problems.

The problem started before the new Yahoo mail was released. I thought it was caused by the Android 4.3 update. But a Samsung rep installed 4.4.2 and the phone still does not sync. We've gone thru the phone exhaustively, I've deleted and reinstalled Yahoo mail accounts at least 6 times, and no one can find the problem. I wrote to Yahoo and of course they insist it is not their problem since my mail accounts sync just fine on my computer and my tablet. On my phone, syncing happens randomly - maybe 4 emails sync show they were read on another device, then the rest of the day no emails sync at all. I started using AquaMail that someone in this forum suggested, and that works just fine for both Yahoo business and Yahoo personal accounts. But the native Samsung mail app is useless right now for my phone.
