Yahoo troubles and dim web browser, bugs...

Hi there

I have what I think are 3 bugs that I would like to get suggestions for. First is that yahoo email only updates my messages to read if I read them on my phone. If I read a message on my desktop, it will show unread on my phone. So if I am reading 10 emails at work on my pc, it shows as new, bolded messages even hours later on my phone. Any suggestions?

Also, when I click on a link on my phone, it asks me if I want to open it with chrome or the browser. Even if I say set as default to open with chrome, it asks me every time there is a link.

Finally, if I open the link with the standard browser, the screen dims down a ton. When I close the browser, the screen is back to normal! ???

I've noticed the same problem with the emails but I don't have a clue. I do know that there is a brightness control in the standard browserwhen you hit your menu button.

there is a brightness setting in stock browser under settings...

Yahoo still won't update right.

And Hotmail is completely not downloading at all onto my phone ANY new emails! ????? I hit refresh and log out and back in and nothing. I have 26 messages in my inbox on my laptop but shows no new messages for the last 2 days on my phone.

UGH. No problems like this with my GNex. What the hey??

I deleted yahoo mail from the stock email client and downloaded yahoo mail from the market and seems to work for me.

Thanks! Will try that. Same with Hotmail. I dunno why this is happening but in the past I had no problems on other phones so I bet it's something on the S3 not being worked out so far...
