YES!! There is a car dock with built in charging!

I have an extra Griffin car dock, still sealed in the box. Would any one like to make a trade for a QI charger? The wife bought it and she did not realize that I have one already.[View attachment 90764]

Does it come with a puck to suction to, or does it just sick to the window? I have an LG Qi charger that I'm not using might be willing to trade.

Just checking to see what your thoughts were on the quality and functionality of the car dock.

These mounts are junk if you are used to the Motorola Mounts. I have been through two of them because they will not work with the Maxx in the case as the advertising states. The plug is at a bad angle and breaks after a short time when used without their case. Don't waste your time or money.

I had a Razr M - until recently, and loved the car mode allot.... Just upgraded to a galaxy s4 but cant seem to copy the smartcardock.apk over, it wont install..... aghhhh google car home is just not the same. I like how the motorola app shows the map with speed and large navigation buttons etc.. Do you know how I can get this on my S4?

Did you ever solve the mounting problem with the Griffin Droid Car Dock? I'm trying to set up something similar, and would like a ball mount that I can just screw in to a flat surface, rather than mount with the suction cup.

Scroll back in this thread to the post I made on 9-13-13 @ 7:20pm. It shows pics of my solution and a link to the ball. You can screw it to any AMPS mounting plate. It is under sized for the Griffin mount, but it works fine with some filler in the cup. I used pieces of a plastic bag. I'm still using it today and it still works.
