Well, it isn't a cakewalk but it's there.
Go to the Asus.com support page for the ZP S 8.0, look for updates, you may have to poke around but it says 6.0.1 update, download it on your PC (1.5 GB file), transfer it to a micro SD card, stick the card in the ZP S 8.0 and it will ask you to update. Follow the instructions.
Voila!
Of course you want to back up your tablet before you start but I had no issues. It actually removes some of the bloatware too.
