finally here in Looe ,Cornwall ,England i'm now downloading the ota of lollipop 5.0.1,just as ive downloaded it to sideload it lol ,well at least it saves me the hassle of doing it my self !!!!

It will work just fine. I got the 5.0 push and my wife didn't, but now she got the 5.0.1 today and I'm still waiting.

Tired of waiting forever sideloaded it and it was not as painless as I though Nexus Root Toolkit made it easy.

If I sideload I have to have it plug up to a computer? With my Samsung phones I usually install from SD card updates

Never got 5.0. But got 5.0.1 early this morning. Zero issues so far. May factory reset just cause I havent done it once yet and could use a clean slate.

Updated to 5.0.1 last night. Everything running great. Nexus 2013 is awesome. My Nexus 2012, however, is still at 5.0 and runs terribly. Hope Google fixes that one soon.
