YooTech Tempered glass screen protector

Hows the FOSMON????

You didn't see the picture I posted a few posts back?!?! lol. It has the dreaded 4 bubble spots on the corners. Looks to be like a potential issue with the G4's screen and not the glass protector.

I used a steamed up bathroom so perhaps this happens to ALL G4's because of the curve of the display. It just so happens that mine trapped the condensation and illustrates it easily because of this. Anyone who does NOT have this issue, did you install in a dry atmosphere? If so, check very very carefully on all corners of the display and see if you see any lifting in those spots??

Mine has this in 1 corner and a small spot to the left of the LG logo.

my bad! Welcome to the bubble club lol. As i said before, hopefully some heat will let it settle? My bottom right corner looks like your bottom right but the other 3 are fine.

Hows the smudging?

I keep pushing down on it with my thumb but it just pops right back up!

It does smudge easier than my last no name glass protector for my G3. You were right! :-!

Bubble club represent!! lol

On mine more pronounced in the upper than lower - small opaque spots. These are areas of the screen not used. It doesn't bother me at all. I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for this thread. But dust under the glass protector - I don't like that at all!

There's a whole universe of other imperfections to deal with :-!

Mine went on nice and easy...cleaned the screen with the wipes, plopped it right on, smoothed out the bubbles and voila!

BUT...no question about it, I went from 99% first try double tap to wake to about 60% (maybe less), every other gesture works great. I wonder if some of the double tap complaining is due to screen protectors in general.

Any way to turn up the touch sensitivity on these devices?

In the end the Yootech was a good purchase.

Interesting...that could explain a lot.

It's my first tempered glass protector, however I've had screen sensitivity issues with my Samsung and the plastic ones. This morning I double tapped three times before it turned on, other times it comes right up. The phone was near flawless without the screen protector, however considering I work in construction it's worth it to me to have on, if I have to double tap a few more times occasionally it's worth it.

Sometimes when the screen is off, I triple tap it to wake it. Seems like the first tap doesn't register allowing the next 2 to wake it.

This is what my Supershields looks like on my G4 .Only real issue is that bubble on bottom right corner .Hopefully it shows in this picture ,not sure if I should attempt a redo or be glad it's not worse ha

Definitely do NOT try redoing that. That is about as good as it's going to get. I went through 3 and never got anything that good.

Well guys and gals I just received an email from the seller (SF Planet) of my Fosmon glass protector and they offered me a replacement for my troubles! That, my friends, is awesome customer service!! I will write a great review simply for their customer service.

PS: Everyone that got the bubbles: could you all let me know if you applied the glass screen in a humid/wet (steamed bathroom) or dry environment?? Thanks! :)

On kitchen table, medium humidity. Two spots on top corners and two tiny spots on bottom.

Mine is still sitting in my drawer of G4 accessories. I think I'm just going to send it back to Amazon for a refund. I've never used one on a phone before not sure why I even ordered it lol.

I'm thinking of doing it in a dry environment this time around to avoid those condensation bubbles I got. I did mine is a steamy bathroom. I run the chance of dust particles though in a dry environment. :-\
