I am enjoying my GN.. however since I am a cell phone whore, I am always looking for the grass that is greener on the other side of the fence.

So.... what phone on the horizon, either rumored or confirmed, will tempt you away from your current steed?

Speaking for myself... if Verizon gets the Sammy Note, I will look at it with a lustful eye, especially if it comes with ICS.

What about the rest of you that share my addiction?

the note would need some rebuilding to work on Verizon, but I am thinking I do want it too... Ideally I want a 6 inch tablet.

Honestly, after getting the Galaxy Nexus, I don't think I could ever go back to a non-Nexus phone. So, I probably won't upgrade til the next one comes out, and even then, I might wait for the one after that, since the GNex should get Jellybean, too.

Of course, I'll still be looking at the other phones coming out, as I have a general interest in keeping up with the newest stuff, but I don't think any will make me want to switch.

At this point, I couldn't care less what comes next. My phone isn't even 1 month old. Looking for something else at this stage is ridiculous. Are you unhappy with your car after a few weeks...your wife/girl friend...your dog (or cat if you're a liberal)?

Im gonna do something i haven't done in years. Keep a phone for 2 years. Next year, im gonna see what the newest Nexus and iPhone have to offer and then go from there. By then i assume blackberry will be dead and WinPho just is a tad boring for my taste

I do love the Nexus, but to say it's my only phone for the next 2 years isn't practical. Software will become more and more demanding and you will only be able to overclock this bad boy to about 2Ghz stable if you are lucky and perhaps 2.3ghz if you are living on the edge. (remember we are underclocked at 1.2ghz)

Quad Core 1.5ghz phones will be fairly common end of the year. So we will see.

Ideally I want to keep on the Nexus band wagon, but I love verizon service for my area and I doubt they will get the next Nexus phone... Just a feeling.

No new phone for me for the next two years and six months. Can you imagine what technology will be offered then?

I'm keeping the GNex for a while. By the time I'm ready to give it up another Nexus will be there to steal my cash.

Do you think when the next nexus comes out, Verizon will actually get it? Our think they are done with it?

If I had to bet, I'd say you will see more and more proliferation of Nexus devices as time goes on. Yes, I think there will be another Nexus on VZW. Will it be the exclusive launch device again? Maybe not.

My next upgrade will be in Jan 2013. Just in time for the next Nexus.

That's a tough one to answer. We all thought that Verizon did a pretty lousy job of launching this phone, but that doesn't mean that Google or Samsung felt the same way. My guess is, Verizon hit whatever contract date they had agreed to in order to get exclusivity. I think the hard thing to overlook is the incredibly large market share that Verizon holds. In the end, it's all about how many units get sold. I hope they get it, because I couldn't leave the network coverage they offer for any phone. A bigger question with the Motorola/Google venture is, will we see a Motorola Nexus next?

I really like my Nexus and am going to keep it, but it's always fun looking at the new tech stuff coming out. I remember all of us posting in here with specs, rumors, etc and while it was a long dragged out wait, that want for a new toy and anticipation made it fun at the same time.

That said, this is my favorite phone I've owned :p

I am also a cell phone whore. I change phones just about every six months. However, the reason i did that is because there was always something better out from different manufacturers. Ths time around, i believe i am going to stick with the nexus since it has no competition. No other phone is pure android, so there is nothing to compare. I have almost ZERO issues with this device, and i strongly believe that is due to the fact that manufacturers dont add any extra skins to Nexus devices. I am sticking with Nexus unless something unbelievable is released, which is doubtful.

There won't be another phone with this kind of a development scene for quite awhile, so I'll be happy for at least a year.
