You just won 300 million in the lottery after taxes, etc....

I'd OD on antidepressants.

Either that or invest it in an account that draws 5% annual interest, take an annual salary of $6,000,000, leaving the rest untouched. After the first year I'd have the $6 mill withdrawn + $309 mill in the bank, after the 2nd year I'd have $12 million withdrawn + $318.9 mill in the bank, after the 3rd year $18mm and $329mm, etc.

Ultimately, 19 years and 8 months later I would have $600 mm in the bank, would have withdrawn a total of $118mm and could easily give $300mm to someone else, having more than comfortably doubled up. I guess it might be hard to live on only $500,000 per month, but I'd make due.

Of course if you could somehow manage to live on only $166,666.67 per month, at the end of that same 19 years and 8 months you'd have $733.7mm in the bank and will have only withdrawn $39.3mm, for a total valuation of around $55mm more than the other plan, due to increased compound interest. That extra $55mm might be useful someday. Hell, if you could somehow survive on only $50k per month, you could add another $19mm to that! Oh, the possibilities of compounded interest. Who doesn't need an extra $19 mill for that extra long spring break?

You make all this CI calc sound 1+1=2 :p. "Who are you ?" :)

I wish they would give me just 0.001% of that 300m, so that i could be clear off this month's expenses.....

Dabbled in some financial modeling at my last company. Now I focus on strategy and logistical modeling, more of a pure math approach than the typical stats/actuarial folks that tend to focus on only financials and boring stuff like that.

My high school math teacher to me this 30 years ago: "Math geniuses rarely become millionaires. Millionaires are rarely good at math."

I was really good at math back then. In fact, I had the highest SAT math score in my school at the time. However, I'm not rich right now.... so I guess my math teacher was right! :D

I would pick again all lotto combinations using the money. Maybe half of it. Giving me the highest chance to win again. Hahaha!

I am a jerk. I would only give a couple family members and friends some money.

The rest I would open up fast food chains etc and give those people ownership and tell them don't screw it up because this could be your retirement.

I would love to visit your fast food chain :)

Pay off bills for myself and my family (both mine and my wife), get a nice house and cars, invest in my daughter's education, and put the rest in a good investment.

quit my job, pay off mine and my family's debt..then build an epic treehouse mansion in Maine, and create the first Delorean Ferrari hybrid

If I recall right it takes something like $20 billion to play every combination.

Let me guess... Something like this, with transparent body:

With a more flexible display (ideally something where you can adjust the level of flexibility), something similar to plastic (which can't shatter at all no matter how hard you'll drop it):

And, of course, with a holographic projector built-in, to project the virtual keyboard (for people who will still prefer this method of text input):

as well as for projecting a "virtual display", both for 2D:

...and for 3D purposes:

;)

As for overall functionality - something like A Day Made of Glass 2: Same Day. Expanded Corning Vision (2012) - YouTube

Am I close to what you've imagined? Or my imagination not being bold enough? ;)
P.S: You are free to copy/reuse my imaginary device idea anytime and anywhere ;)

All that plus a battery that never dies :D

300 million dollars can't buy a private Airbus A380.... the Saudi king or prince who ordered one paid way more than that.... nice to be a dictator, isn't it? :)
