just converted to android on htc 3d...

looking through app store and tons of stuff out there..

Just wondering what others are using that they like. Anything from games to email, sms, etc. I am just wondering what the cool apps are out there.

I use the stock email app. It does what I need.

Lots of people like handscent for sms, chomp is also a good alternative.

I highly recommend signing up for the Amazon app store. They offer a paid app for free everyday. This is one of the easiest way to check out games without dropping some money on something that sucks.

Cut the rope(game) - Words with Friends(game) - Zombie Booth(Very fun app) - Flashlight app(from htc hub) - Drag Racing(game) - Fast Reboot(ram clearer) - Netflix - Google Reader(rss feeds) - *** Must Have*** TAPATALK (for forum browsing) - Pandora (Internet radio) - Movies by Flixster( for movie showtimes, trailors and reviews)

Goto stock messaging and click menu - settings - notifications and turn off notifications

I really like GOSMS Pro, Swiftkey, App 2 SD Pro, Call Control, MyBackup Pro, NetQin Security, Password Safe Pro, ScanLife, Watchdog. All (plus more) on my HTC EVO Shift 4G.

ColorNote (for creating to-do/ grocery lists)
Cut the Rope (game)
Dolphin Browser HD (best browser out there IMO)
Equalizer (I have the custom set to loud cause otherwise the E3D volume is just too low)
ES File Explorer (for looking around on my sd card)
Evernote (for all my notes I want to keep in the cloud)
Flikie (for the coolest HD wallpapers)
Handcent SMS
IMDb (for movie showtimes AND for all those times I need to know "What else did he/she play in??" when I see someone on TV or in a movie)
iRunner (game)
iSyncr & iSyncr Wifi for getting music from my Mac to my phones
Lookout (Antivirus software)
PowerAmp - the best music app out there IMO
Shaky Tower (game)
ShopSavvy (barcode scanner & reports lowest price locally and on the internet for things)
Slice-It (game)
Tweetcaster (My fave twitter app)
WeatherBug Elite (love the weather radar)
