I have been looking into 7" tablets. I like the look and feel of the Iconia. It seems like a good value. I am having trouble telling if it can do what I need. I do Internet search and reviews are all over the place for everything I wonder about. Thought I would ask you good folks that have used it. I'm wanting to know if things work on it without rooting, hacking of working around.....

Specifically;
will Skype work on it- including video chatting?

Can I watch MLB games on it with my MLB.tv subscription, either on the browser or via the at bat app?

Hulu through the browser?

Kindle app e/reader?

Thanks in advance.

Out of the three items you listed, Ive only used the Kindle app. It works great. I haven't had an issue one. All my books showed up, and it works fine.

So far lovin the experience on the a100. Tegra processor definitely beats all the needs required for school based work. All book experience has been a joy. Kindle app has finally been updated though I prefer the nook app. The 1 gb ram helps the multi taking. Netflix should work but hulu isn't updating for this device. Any flash based video will work at 720 p but there is a weird glitch with 1080 p nvidia has had this problem for a while but heavens knows why they haven't updated the drivers. The left side in portrait mode with the home button on the bottom, veiwinnbg angles are weird but the other side are fine. Battery depends on your use but seems okey. Kepp charge overnight, drains 50% in 12 hours on standby. Web browsing again is a beauty. Quad core tablet is unnecessary, won't tell the difference except on games and 2160 p video. Also hulu does not support playback through the browser, must have hulu + for money. Skype works on any device with a mic and video chat with 2.3 or higher. Tango should work if that doesn't work either.

- AtBat on tablets doesn't show live TV (it does show on my EVO 3D) but you can watch on the browser.
