Your phone's temperature is too low...

As you can see in Samsung's support blogs (all 13 pages of complaints) - Located Here (https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Note10/Galaxy-note-10-low-Battery-temp/m-p/949051), this is a very well know issue/problem. Samsung needs to acknowledge that there is an issue with this. After reading all of the posts, it does not seem that their is a fix. Many people have sent their phone for repair only to have it happen with the repaired phone. This is a serious issue that Samsung needs to address.

Not to bump an old thread but I registered to give my 2 cents on this topic as I am on my 4th "Warranty Repair" Because of this same issue. My advice is to sell it as soon as you can or pay off your lease and change to any other device besides samsung right now. I have had mine for 7 months and its been in repair for 4 times and it takes 2 weeks. I myself am done with them and their devices after owning everyone since the s4. Samsung really needs to get their stuff together and do a recall or something to fix these lemons once and for all.

Hi, welcome to AC!

Sorry you had to go through that, but it happens to any big company and everyone hasn't experienced this especially me owning pretty much every S series and Note series up to 10 .

As a data point I returned mine to Samsung and bought one directly from Amazon. I took advantage of this so bought an unlocked one this time and got off Sprint. I am now using Mint and am saving a TON!

Obviously I have had the new one for over 6 months now and I have not had a single issue with it. I love it.

I don't really blame Samsung, all manufacturers get defective units, that can't be helped. Go Google all the issues people have with Apple products. Apple is worse if you are beyond Apple Care, they don't want to fix your devices, they just push you to buy a new model.

So in the end this worked out for me. i :) i

the temperature sensor that measures the battery is built in In your case either the battery is defective, because it get's to hot immediately when charging or the sensor is defective. Either way, I think you have to replace the battery with a new one.

Welcome to the forums.

Thank you been meaning to sign up for long time but lurked instead.

Also note that I may have been frustrated in my post and would like to day I still have the same feelings that Samsung needs to do something to resolve the issue with the note 10 I have currently sent mine in for Warranty work again and I'll let everyone know what they say.

Oh Samsung is FAR from perfect in how it handles these things. I was not happy at all. The only way I got satisfaction was to completely return mine, they would not exchange it. I mean come on! I just bought it and it is defective out of the box, if that is not an exchange for a new one situation, I don't know what is!

I don't blame Samsung for a bad unit, as I said above, but I agree 100% with you on how they handle it.

I don't think the Note 10's have issues overall though. I know others that have them and have not had any issues and I have not had any with my Amazon one.

I still LOVE their products, they are kind of my Apple, but from now on I will just buy from Amazon as they will exchange it if it is bad so long as it is fulfilled by them. So problem solved really. :)

Anyone have this issue with the Note 10 plus?? I'm being offered a new Note 10 plus because my normal Note 10 has this issue.

I just sent my note 10 plus off to samsung for repair for this issue. I bought an s20 plus on a new carrier contract. Not sure what I am going to do with the note when it comes back. Hated getting another samsung because of this issue, but there is literally nothing out right now that I would be interested in.
