Every time I try to comment on a blog post I get the above message. I see nothing in my comment that would trigger a spam filter, nor do I recall doing anything in the past that might have me "blocked". The post I'm trying to comment on today is: Android Central Editors' app picks for May 15, 2010.

Here's what I'm trying to say:

To Jared - have a look at Dialer One in the Market (it's free). It can be configured to display the call log above the dial pad, giving you one-touch access to your call log from your home screen. I originally installed it because of its T9-style contact search, but the option to group the call log by contact, and the ability to display the call log instead of the contacts list when starting, makes it worthwhile all by itself.

Since installing Dialer One I have removed both the phone and contacts apps from my home screen.

What's the problem?

I think it's just the nature of your post. Maybe it keyed in on the app name & the word Market, and it triggered the filter. Not sure though, so I'll alert Phil, and see if he has any feedback.

Thanks. This has happened the last three times I tried to post a comment. At this point I have no idea what the other comments were even about.

I understand the need for the error message to be vague; a spam filters effectiveness would be compromised if it actually gave information on what was triggering the filter.

Has this been cleared up for you?

I have been having the same issue. I even tried hitting the Contact Us link to send a message about the issue I was having and even that got marked as spam. The comment I was trying to make was pretty simple, "i have the incredible and i don't see that as an option when i add a widget. is there a way to download and install that widget?"

Can this be cleared for me too?

can anyone help me with this problem?

I just had the same problem. I tried to delete or substitute every flaggable keyword I could think of in reply to someone complaining about the high volume of Evo news. I ended up writing, "This device is a big deal for the next 15 minutes, just like the Droids were when they hit the streets. Deal with it."

I still couldn't submit the above. I'm totally lost as to what could've triggered the spam filter, either by keyword or topic.

I'll bring it to the attention of the powers that be. Please be patient.

This has happened to me every time I have tried to post a comment as well. I even tried to submit a tip through that email tool and it did the same thing. I just tried doing it through my EVO and it did the same thing...

For what it's worth, I tried submitting a comment today and the same thing happened. Then I gradually cut the text down to one word ("people") and still triggered the spam filter. Apparently, it's not keying on anything; it just runs indiscriminately.

I take that back. It's not running indiscriminately, it's running consistently. I am not able to post in the comments, period.

this is also happening to me evey comment I try to make comes up with spam filter this was my comment:
why do you need a bachelors to use a tv box? cant say I'm complaining, I have a degree, I just dont see what it has to do with twitter, a blog or using a tv box? (unless it's because all you do at uni is watch tv all day lol)

it is not because I use the word degree, because it happenes even if I make a mundane comment like:

this is good news for android

any thoughts?
