YouTube and YouTube TV display bug

I have 10 on my 3 and 3xl. Whenever I launch YT or YTTV, I get an overlay of play and fast forward/reverse buttons that I need to "x" out to see a clean screen without the overlay.

Do you have a screen protector installed? Are you noticing any phantom touches anywhere?

The latest YouTube update seems to have a few bugs (lke this one: https://forums.androidcentral.com/ask-question/976746-youtube-links-not-working.html#post6639038). Might need to wait until the next update. In the meantime, send some feedback to Google about it from within the app's settings.

Can try uninstall the current update and test if everything ok , just dont update it in play store turn apps automatic update off

The tricky thing there is that you'd have to uninstall all updates to YouTube (basically reinstalling the factory-installed version), but it's a good idea.
