Youtube app looses connection when playing a youtube mix

[AC Question]

Hello everyone.

I have a moto G and when I play a mix on the youtube app I get an error, "connection to server lost", "touch to retry" or something like that. this only happens when the song ands on the mix and I can not play more than one song on a mix without having to reload the screen. by the way I tried this on full screen and normal screen mode. Also I tried on with the latest update as well as with the factory default app.

any idea what could be the problem.

BTW I can play a 1+hr. video without any problems

Have you tried clearing the cache for YouTube?

I have not tried that.
I'll try that when I get home since the internet connection at work is very slow

I tried clearing the cache but I still have the same problem, I can only play one or two videos from a mix an then I get the same error.
