HP slate 7 Tablet. Kitkat 4.4.2, arm v7. I can open the YouTube app, but the videos only have sound no video. the overlay on the screen like play / pause skipping and the like will show, but over a black background while the sound plays.
This is specifically in the app, I can play videos in the browser on YouTube mobile site, but very sluggishly.
Checking all the forums I can the solution is to uninstall twitter, which I have done, after which I also cleared the data and cache for the YouTube app and restarted the device. I've also tried wiping the cache partition. But I still have the issue.
