YouTube Border?

Hey guys. Just been wondering about the stupid border around the screen when watching a YouTube video in landscape mode. It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..

Is there a specific setting to disable it, or a certain gesture?

I think its a little bug with the app itself. On all my devices, at random times the buttons and status bar don't go away. Most of the time they do, but sometimes I just have to close out the app and restart it for the problem to be fixed.

Oh really? I've never had this problem before...I thought it was unique to theM8 since it has virtual buttons... I'll have to try restarting the app then. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, same on occasion. Something I've also been meaning to try to fix it without restarting when it happens is all in one gestures. Let's you go completely full screen with a swipe. I use it for temple run since that doesn't have fully inmerisve mode. But it wouldn't hurt to give that a try next time it happens, see if it works until there's actually a bugfix

Double tap and the bar will go away.

We're specifically talking about the bug where that doesn't happen. You can tap as much as you'd like, the bar and buttons stay. Happens maybe 1/5 of the time I use the app.

I can now confirm that All In One Gestures will fix this when it happens without exiting anything. Not a fix, but a workaround.

Which gesture are you referring to?

The app "All In One Gestures" let's you set hot corners, so for instance when I swipe in from the left upper corner I'm taken into immersive (fullscreen) mode in whatever I happen to be in. It works to correct that YouTube bug.
