Youtube keeps freezing?

MY trade in was s24 Ultra, never happened on that one, never happened on any other phone, or my Fold 5 i had last year, but now it keeps freezing, if im watching a vid it sometimes wont let me go back tonthe mainscreen to browse vids, it wont let me minimize or close the video window, a cpl times i couldnt even exit out and had to reboot the phone.

I have the current version of the phone's software and youtube.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm having the same issue, and so are others on Reddit. It happens when watching a video and then attempting to scroll your subscriber list. It's frustrating and I hope there is a fix on the way.

I'm not running into this as of yet, what YouTube version are you guys on and are you US or international?

Have you both tried clearing the YouTube app cache/data, force stopping it, then opening it again?

^ Yes. That works for awhile , and then it reverts back. If others aren't having this issue, I may return my unit

Sounds more like an issue with the app itself. May be a recent update to YouTube.

Ok, glad to know its not just my phone at least. Hopefully its fixed soon.

Same with me. I don't have any problems with the YouTube app. I use it every day.

Have you gotten the August security update? Another thing Google play system still April 1 unfortunately
