I'm not sure whether an update to the Samsung Browser or to the YouTube app, but now when I click the title of an embedded video it opens a new window to m.youtube.com instead of the YouTube app. Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it? Thanks.

Set the You Tube app to be the default for You Tube links.

1. Open SETTINGS, then APPS.
2. Tap YOU TUBE, then SET AS DEFAULT.
3. Tap GO TO SUPPORTED URLS, then VIA THIS APP.

I checked them and they match that, but still opens a new tab in youtube mobile rather than the app. Very strange. I'll give Chrome a try and see if it's any better.

Damn. You're right -- mine doesn't work anymore either.

Here's the fix. The You Tube app updated a few days ago. Go to SETTINGS/APPS and find You Tube. Hit FORCE STOP, then UNINSTALL. You'll be asked if you want to uninstall the updates to the factory installed app. Choose YES. After that, you should be good to to go. You'll have to make sure that the app doesn't update itself again. Check your Play Store settings to prevent the auto update.

It's a pain but at least if it's not a problem solely on my phone then there should be a fix coming. I can live with it until then.

If you are using Firefox on android, after the link is open via browser in the search bar (Android Sign) will appear click on it the video will open in Youtube application, but make sure u already went to Apps settings: youtube; set as defaults, open via this app.
