YouTube not working

This just started recently. When I click on a link that directs me to youtube, it no longer loads the video. YouTube just remains on the home page. I've cleared cookies and cache and still no changes. Anyone have any ideas?

Go into phone settings and in the search bar type reset > then reset settings

Did you try uninstalling updates from the YouTube app in settings, then letting them redownload? Or just Force Stopping the app, then reloading?

Yes I did. It worked a couple times and went back to not working.

Type reset app preference and try that , if doesn't work then go into safe mode

I just tried that and it still doesn't work.

Happening to me too.

It's a YouTube issue. Turn off auto updates in play store and dont update the app. The youtube update on 9/5 is the culprit.
