YouTube pop up

Just got my new note 10 plus yesterday. Been a minute since using a Samsung device. Came from the pixel 2xl. Is it possible for you to go to the home screen and have a pop-up automatically show on the home screen or do I need to use the app switcher and choose pop up view?

My 2xl did this automatically.

In regards to YouTube? It should do it automatically. Now other apps you'll have to force it to with a setting but YT "should" automatically on Android devices.

You mean the little window that keeps the video playing when you click on home while in the YouTube app? Mine works just like it did on my pixel 3 XL. Check your YouTube setting if it got disabled for what ever reason.

OK. Thanks. I thought it should work. I checked my settings. Its turned on. But when I swipe up and go home it does not work. Plays in the background but not over the screen.

OK. Its working now. I turned background play from always to off and it's working now.
