Hi,
I did a real quick search and didn't see this issue.

When running a yoututbe video the Fire can not seem to buffer enough data and keeps stalling every 4-5 seconds. That is it starts playing and I can see the play icon catch up to the buffer icon and everything stops. A few seconds later it continues and then stalls as soon as it runs out of buffer.

It seems as if it is a wi-fi problem. The kindle reports an "excellent" connection but only 1Mb/s speed (802.11g wifi). I've seen people talk about how the Kindle will drop the wi-fi speed down to save power but then pop back up to full speed (54MB/s in my case) when needed. To me it seems as if it gets stuck at 1Mb/s and just can keep up.

I tried my viewing the same video on my netbook at the same time and it had no problems what so ever. the buffer stream was running 2-3 faster than the play stream so it never got close to stalling.

My router is an older Linksys (from vonage) that does 802.11G. the TIVO, netbook, phones, etc have never had a problem.

I believe I'm running the 6.22 update on my Kindle. I also have flash disabled in the browser (still in desktop mode though).

JM.
