youtube stuttering problem

Hello ive had a htc10 uk unlocked since december and its had a problem with youtube not being smooth it stutters on every video.i contacted htc they said clear cache also cache partition and clear data.ive done that a few times and it hasnt helped.i dont want to do a factory reset unless i really have to does anyone have any ideas what to do please.

Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Hello ive only tryed on wifi as i dont have a data plan im on pay as go.you tube on the chrome browser does it to.i tryed in safe mode it still stutters.im wondering if the nougat update will fix it. uk hasnt had nougat yet.

Does it stutter on any wi-fi network or just your home one?

Ive only tryed it on my own wifi that has good download and upload speeds.my computer seems to play you tube ect fine.im pretty sure its the phones fault.i would really like to remedy this fault being that i use you tube frequently on my phone.

It's possible for only certain devices to have issues on a given network. If it never happens on another wi-fi network, then you can narrow it down to your router. Try rebooting your router by unplugging its power for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in.
