Hey all,
I've tried googling this but I think the search terms are too vague. I have a Nexus 6P and I like to drift off to sleep while listening to YouTube videos. And it never fails, as soon as I start to play a video, my video stops. When I look to see why, I see that new apps are downloading/installing (I do have Play Store set to auto-update). I can just click play and the video starts playing again, but when the next app starts to download, the video will pause again. The weird thing is, it doesn't happen at a specific time every night. It happens when I start playing a YouTube video (as long as there are app updates). It's as if playing a video is what triggers the app store to start updating all apps.
So what gives? I've had Samsung phones the last few years and I didn't see this behavior. Is there a way to perhaps schedule the apps to update at a different time? Or better yet, why the hell pause the video when apps are downloading at all?
Thanks!
