Youtube Widget on Wifi

I noticed today that my Youtube widget doesn;t have the ability to stream over a wifi connection. I couldn't find a settings option to change. Is there a work around other than just using a browser and youtube?

Mine seems like it loads faster when wifi is connected, which leads me to believe that it is working fine.

Mine won't load at all when it's without a tower connection. The browser will however.
