Has anybody tried the invisibleSHIELD by ZAGG on the Bioinc yet?

Any ideas of how the screen might look like with invisibleSHIELD on it? any past experiences of the product?

I installed them at BBM for a long time. They really are pretty great. The beveled digitizer looks like it would be a nightmare for an install though.

The Bionic does have Gorilla Glass however. I'm not sure if that means it's less prone to scratching or less prone to shattering (or both). You may not need one.

I used an invisible shield on my Chocolate at one time. When that one got messed up I lost it, but it really didn't do all that much for the screen anyways. I actually was able to get a nice scratch on it anyways, it's not as good as I thought it was. Would I try again? Yeah probably, but the Gorilla Glass is pretty scratch resistant anyways, but the Invisible Shield would be a good idea.

working in BBM, ive had one installed on all the phones that I got. Unfortunately, some BBM wont receive them asap, so for the time being, I have a universal one installed. It doesnt fit it perfectly, but it does protect 90% of it.

and gorilla glass is a gimmick i believe, i send phones out for service everyday that have cracked screens. and my iphone has a big scratch on it....

I love the invisible Shields. My mom bought a bionic the day after me and she got one installed the same time she picked it up at bbm. I've never gotten a scratch on my screen using one. Had one on my og Droid for two years and its still looking brand new. Especially cool that if something happens they have life time warranties and will send you a new one

Picked up at Bby for the Bionic .. It's glossy, typical orange Peel associated with these types of film. Better than vz product, not as good as Sgp.

sgp? i never heard of that company.. ive been debating on getting zagg or not.. im not worried about scratches but after a while on the stock screen it feels like dry i guess would be only way to explain it and finger doesnt wanna slide that smooth across it.. so im looking for an alternative i know zagg has that orange peel feel but if my finger slides smooth no matter what then idc

Definetly sticky and not smooth at all. Bb installed minefor my sons nexus and i wontever get anoyher one. Also had on bb playbook and took it off after a week....waste of 20$

I had the ZAGG on my OG Droid for about 2 days. Ripped it off and threw it away. I hated the orange peel and also, may of been just mine, but it was so rubbery my finger would stick to it making the touch screen a pain to use. I couldn't get it off my phone quick enough. Will not be buying another.

I've used Zagg on a few of my previous phones as well as for screens for laptops, etc. And like the others have said, they have a sorta rubbery feel to them. They work great, but the stickiness can be irritating on a touchscreen. Also, they're kinda glossy, which isn't what I wanted for my Bionic. Case Mate makes some good matte screen protectors (very matte, almost silk like finish). I got a screen protector from Verizon the day I bought mine, but have since taken it off and am using one from Skinomi since it came with a skin I ordered. I like it; it covers the whole front. It's glossy, but not too glossy, and it's really fingerprint proof.

Finally got the zagg shields at my store. One warning for those planning on getting it, it doesn't go from edge of screen to edge of screen. Basically it start at the part where the screen glass comes up. It's good for those that will have a case Bc typically the case will cover that part, but for those that go naked there's a higher chance it might come off faster. Granted you get a lifetime warranty its a pita to change it out every few months.

I bought my Zagg from amazon for $11 and had BB install it for me for $8. It works great for me and it made it so the small scratch on my screen is no longer visible. The texture may not be the greatest, but the protection is great :)

I first tried the screen protectors from verizon. It made the screen black and white. A friend talked me into trying the zag. My bionic takes some abuse so I was a little scared of this thin piece of shink wrap I was about to install. The down side is the sticky feeling. It's not goey, it just seems that your finger kind of drags across the screen. I don't even notice anymore. Also the Orange peel was not great. If your looking at the phone you would never notice, but if you tip it to the side it's noticeable. On the plus side it is very tough. Probably the best part is that it did not dull my screen out. I would say maybe 10 percent loss of color. The few drag marks I have put on the protector ( mostly from pulling it out of my pocket and dragging it on my knife handle or keys) are removed by rubbing your finger across the protector or let the phone sit in the sun for a couple of minutes and the protector just seems to reapply itself perfectly.
