Zagg substitute

What screen covers are you using? I have a Zagg on mine and it's the second one. The edges end up peeling up around the mic cutouts. I know I can email em and get a replacement (pay for shipping). But they're a booger to install.
I really like the way the Zagg looks on the phone and feels. I like the tactile feel. And it's very resistant to bumps, scratches. Cleans easily. This has been on about 7 or 8 months and was fine. Then one day I cleaned it with a cloth and I guess it just didn't like it and started peeling up.
Lesson to either get a different screen cover or clean more gently.

I won't use anything other than a ZAGG. Personal preference, really.

I use the Steinheil crystal clear screen protector. I've had it on since February of last year and it still looks as good as new. I like it a lot more than the Zagg I had because it doesn't peel at the edges and it feels super smooth. Like no screen protector is applied.

I hear that a lot. Probably depends on how you carry/use it.
Before I put my screen protector on, mine got a nice little scratch on it (you can still see through the protector) from keys in my pocket.
Convinced me to put a cover over the 'gorilla glass'

I suppose if you put the phone in your pocket with keys, all bets are off.. The only thing that goes in my left pocket is my phone, and occasionally a rubberized USB drive. If I could stand screen protectors of any kind, maybe I'd put on on though.

Good point. It's individual is guess. I have a hard enough time remembering to take what I need... Would have a harder time remembering which pocket is designated for which things. Lol.

Prior Zagg user here and I will never go back. Zagg is really over priced! I've used these guys (Tactical Armor): on my RAZR Maxx and Droid X. It's similar to zagg w out the orange peel, super clear and it's a bit thinner.

im still a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. i use either ZAGG or Skinomi and will never go back to cheap plastic screen protectors. thinking about getting the full body skin that one or both of those companies make.

+1 on the Skinomi.. had one for an . Old phone, went on great and customer service was great.
