Zapx--- brick

Been running gummyjar and tried darkslide and apex. Fairly new to using rooms but tthought id try something new. Downloaded zapx from droidpirate and it bricked my x. Took me 4 hours to get it were it was. I saw I wasn't the only one this happened to. Guess u should research alittle before trying a custom rom

I bricked my X for the first time with this ROM, too. Plus side: I learned about SBF, RSD Lite and always having a nandroid backup.

I knew nothing of rsd or sbf not much anyway but learned which is what took so long. Keep trying rsd 4.7 until I figured there was 4.8.

Bricks are fun! Good you got it running again. Always do lots of reading before you get rom happy and flash them all.

I think ZapX is junk.
I bricked on it also. has anyone ran it successfully?

No luck hear also, ZapX caused all kind of issues with device including brick state, so glad for Bootstrap Recovery and Nandroid.
