Zen Watch 2 not charging nor screen is starting

[Android Central Question]

I haven't used my asus zenwatch 2 for a while since I lost the charger. I now got a new one and all of a sudden the watch won't charge nor screen is switching on. Has anyone ever faced this issue? Is my watch's battery gone and need a replacement?

Let it charge for few hours

Welcome to Android Central! If it doesn't turn on after charging for at least 6 hours undisturbed, then the battery is probably completely discharged (which is irreversible) and would need to be replaced.
