Zizo Bolt

My case came today. I got the Zizo Bolt in Desert Tan. It also comes with a glass screen protector but I'm going to keep it as emergency backup and get the Whitestone Dome (which I just ordered today).

It has 3 pieces, not including the glass. A pliable tpu, a stiff shell, and a belt clip holster.

The tpu part went on easily. The shell part did not. I had to use a finger nail file on a set of clippers to pry it up to slip over the power button. You can probably put them both on at once to avoid this but I didn't.

The buttons are kinda flush with the case. Despite this, they aren't difficult to push. That's what I disliked about the Otterbox cases. I have hand issues and pressing the buttons was difficult.

The two holes on each side are for the belt clip. It can either clip to protect the front or to the back.
On the side with the volume button, on the bottom corner, are two holes to put the incl. lanyard. If I were somewhere taking photos as well as watching whatever, this would be a good thing to have.

I have the red version. I have the glass screen protector installed and it works great. Touches and swipes register even when my phone is inside my Tune Band armband (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QQTQUWQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) behind it's plastic cover.

But the case itself I found just on the edge of too bulky. So I am switching between it and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid S case. I haven't settled on which one is my favorite yet.

i also have the red/black one. price wise, you can't beat it for $30 2 day shipping from amazon.
great results with the glass protector also. it's got a sturdy kickstand. i feel pretty comfortable with this protecting my N8. i don't think it's too bulky. the bulk it does have is welcomed. it works well with the older samsung wireless charger...i am awaiting for my new promo wireless charger and card.

The red/black won't allow my wireless charging to work. It initially connects and then stop after about 10 seconds.

Yes the glass screen protector is installed separately. It was very easy to install.

I've owned many Bolt cases and have never taken the two pieces apart the phone slips in and out of the case w/o taking it apart. Love zizo cases unfortunately I can't get it to work with wireless charging

The only way I've been able to get the case to work with wireless charging is to lay it on its side on the newer Samsung wireless charger. Otherwise it's always going on and off
