ZTE Axon 7 Preorders Have Begun

It sucks that I'll have to wait longer. But it's a good thing for zte. That means if they keep up with good software updates this phone could be a good phone and force other phone companies to drop their prices and be more competitive

Best Buy has officially confirmed my phone should get here tomorrow. Basically got 2 day shipping for free. Almost worth the sales tax of $28

Took the leap and ordered in gray from Newegg. Partly because I am curious to see if expected performance exceeds the price point...and partly because I am making a statement as a consumer that $700 bucks is too much to pay for a phone ...we shall see how things turn out with this purchase. :-)

After considering posts in other threads about the reception issues, I have decided to cancel my order. First and foremost I need my phone to function....as a phone. I was willing to roll the dice and hope for a camera software update, which apparently this model will require at some point. Perhaps my experiment with value (performance) versus cost has been proven (?).....I am still curious and will follow threads here just to see what develops.

There's no cell reception issues for me. Wi-Fi is a little bit of an issue but I never lose connection.

Signal bars are subjective. It is all in the software design. The same actual signal strength on one phone may produce two bars and on another phone four bars, but in reality the signal is exactly the same. So if you have been reading the posts you mention you would see that virtually everyone says that they have no issues with signal strength, connectivity, or dropped calls. It's your money!
