My fiancee currently has a Samsung J3 Luna Pro straight talk phone that is being a mega PITA. She is looking for something simple and saw that Wal-Mart has the ZTE majesty pro for 30 bucks, but I noticed it says it allows tethering how much are you allowed to tether on this phone if you have the Straight Talk $55 unlimited plan just kind of curious and asking for my fiance.

Tethering is tethering, should not matter how much you can tether. basically once you tether(hotspot I assume), the device is sharing it connection to other device. The original device (sim) only sees data being used and should not care how much is being shared). I have a 10GB plan and have not yet o over when hotspotting to two other devices that are wifi only for me.

Tethering is excluded from StraightTalk plans as per their ToS. This from their 'Unauthorized use of service section'.

Your Service may not be used in connection with certain unauthorized uses that may adversely impact other customers using our Service or the Carrier’s network. Examples of some unauthorized uses include, but are not limited to, the following:
[...]
(vi) access to the internet, intranets, or other data networks except as the device’s native applications and capabilities permit (excluding all hotspot applications),
