I think I've seen some people in the same boat as me...I can't get Zumocast to play some .avi files, and none of my .mkv files. I still can't understand why it won't since they are both technically supported. For example, I can play Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, it's an .mp4 file. But I can't play Back to the Future an .mkv file. But I can play Austin Powers Goldmember, which is an .mkv file. I keep Blu-Ray copies of most of my movies that have Blu-Ray copies made for them, because obviously they look awesome
. But for some reason I also can't play my live Chickenfoot show, which is a Blu-Ray .avi file. Most of my .avi files work, but this specific one does not. I'll post the mediainfo stats on both a working .avi file and this one that doesn't work, and also an .mkv file, maybe I'm doing something wrong in the codec?
EDIT: Also, just so you know, I'm getting the error: Zumocast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
And also, I've been unable to play .mov files as well, which is what all the videos from my Video Production class are all exported in.
