Zune and Evo?

To sync music to your phone do this press menu > settings > connect to PC > default connection type.

Again, rush, please do some research and be a little more thorough with your information.

If your music is from the zune pass music subscription service (like mine is) it won't work on the EVO (or any android phone for that matter) because of DRM. If you PURCHASED your music from Zune (like you can in itunes) it SHOULD work just fine.

I had hopes that Microsoft would release a Zune app, but with WP7 being released that's not gonna happen.

No I download from limewire/ frostwire/ mp3 rocket lol. and Im trying to make my zune software detect my EVO.. is that possible?

Not really. I have a zune hd and it won't detect anything but the zune. There are 2 options I think.

1. You have frostwire? In the new frostwire app version 4.21 there should be a tab that says phones and tablets with the android logo. It should be next to the library tab. You can move music to and from the device in that tab I believe.

2. Use Windows media player to recognize your Evo in the sync tab on the top right. The tab should be right next to play and burn tabs. Then you can drag your music to the phone.

Hope this helps.

I had a Zune HD, but the only other non Zune device that can work on the Zune software is an ipod.... They got the software and device locked down tight.

I prefer the Zune anyway when it comes to media. I do stream my library using Subsonic though, still can't play protected files though.

I also prefer the Zune interface and windows manager. But, after searching for a bit I gave up and went to Rhapsody.

They have subscriptions like the Zune, but much more basic. Still, you can create playlist or add one of many existing playlists to your catalog on their web site. The app on your phone will see the lists and let you stream them or download them to the SD card on your phone.

The have a free trial so you can see if their service is good enough.

Please press Thanks if I have helped you

Agreed. Forget about Zune and Android. Better off ripping cds to your phone.
