ZVD to ZVJ errors using optiauto-sfx

Im rooted. ZVD. Stock recovery.
Copying files for next stage (may take a few minutes)...

push: copy2sd-zvj/update.zip -> /sdcard/update.zip
protocol failure

Rebooting

If it takes LONGER than 60 seconds to initiate reboot
manually reboot using

POWER button to power OFF, then POWER+VolDwn+HOME

If your phone boots into Android instead of Recovery
please REPEAT the most recent step

Rebooting to Recovery... error: device not found
Done

Any idea want could be wrong?

Yes and yes.
I tried uninstalling the drivers, restarted and used ccleaner and reinstalled.
 
Did you make sure to keep the screen on during the process? Not doing that gave me that error once.

did option a: root/install custom recovery. Everything went through.

Did get this error though:
error: protocol fault (status 43 6c 65 61?!)

Didnt seem to mess anything up in the process though
 
Ok did it. Here's how.

Factory reset from recovery.
Then wiped cache.
Then used option a (root zvd/zvh)
Then restarted computer
Then option b (root to zvj)
