I rooted my TB two days ago... I have already d/l Mecha_VERIZON_WWE_1.12.605.6_Radio_1.16.00.0223r_NV_8k_1.41_9k_1.64_release_174685_signed.zip, but I'm not sure what to do with it? In order to return my phone to back stock do I use ROM manager or can anyone give me the exact details on how to return my phone back to stock should an OTA update comes around in the future? Thanks in advance!

Are you having issues with the root? Why are you going back to stock if you dont mind me asking.

I did this last night to return my phone for a warranty.

Put the file on the SD root and rename to PG05IMG.zip

adb reboot bootloader

return to stock now re-rooting

Thanks for the help... Took all of 10 minutes... Now, back to re-rooting, setup, and app installation... I wish I could say 10 minutes on that also? But, thanks again!

yeah, .6 is the stock ruu. Everyone should download it and have it tucked away in a safe place. Hopefully we can get other mirrors of it.

Is "Mecha_VERIZON_WWE_1.12.605.6_Radio_1.16.00.0223r_N V_8k_1.41_9k_1.64_release_174685_signed.zip" the exact ROM that came with the TB?

Yes, it will give you the 605.6 version with S-ON just like you got it from the factory.

There is actually a 605.9 version out there too that some of the roms are using such as the debloat one from Adrynaline.

Hope this helps.

Just wanna have one for if I wanna ever go back to 100% or need to bring it back for warranty reasons.

I've been hesitant to root my phone for this reason, in case it needs warranty service. Won't they be able to tell that you've replaced the bootloader with the engineering one, even if you downgrade to the stock RUU?

When you root with the method shown on the forum, you downgrade your bootloader to obtain S-OFF. You then reflash a modified bootloader to get the current stock image (minus the bootloader).

When you use the method described above to return to stock, it will replace the entire phone with the current release.

When you do this, it will be just like when you pulled it out of box. Unrooted, with S-ON. They will not be able to tell you did this at all.

make sure you reboot after installing superuser.

I also had to download titanium backup and update the busybox to get root.
