DNA texting issue

I have had my DNA for about 3 months now. Here in the last month or so I have been having some issues. When I get a text and my phone is locked, when I unlock it and go straight to text, it goes to the top on that particular contacts text string. It used to not do that. Anyone else have this problem? Is it a setting I have changed?

This would happento me very often pre "SIM card fix" update. It hasn't happened since then.
The messaging app is terrible. Its slow and takes a while to show the contact names on the conversations.

I had this issue when I had the GS3 interestingly.
