Freezing and shutting down into load screen

I have had firmware version 2.2.1, Baseband: S:i500.04 V.EB01, Kernel: 2.6.32.9 Build: SCH-I500.EB01 for about 4 months now and no problems all of a sudden it is freezing to a black screen and sometimes going to the checkered 3D load screen on its own. Any help?

Have you recently installed some new apps etc. Could be caused from an app. Some more details as to what you were doing before this occured would help troubleshoot the issue. Be as detailed as you can so I or someone else can help you the best we can!

What device model you have do have effect too. And the apps you have updated lately. Kinds of actions will cause this issue. As #2 said, more detailed better.

I've downloaded some basic apps off of the markets like games and things. I updated Titanium Backup, ROM Manager, and different game and apps from market. That don't have anything to do with modding the phone. Device model is Samsung Fascinate SCH-i500

Its probably the ROM manager.....can't be sure where I read it, but I don't believe ROM manager likes to play with the fascinate.
