I went and bought the fascinate yesterday, coming from the x. Love it!! But one problem. I've heard of some talking about voice quality and I am back on my x now because I could slightly hear myself and with that it was like I could hear myself through a blown speaker...is that an issue? Anyone else have this? Should I try another or is this a common thing with the sammy?

I would get another one. I do not have that issue my sound is crystal clear.

A lot of Fascinate users have had issues with sidetone (being able to hear yourself in the earpiece). It's a common issue on this phone. On my phone it's not too bad, unless I am talking loud or with my mouth close to the mouthpiece. It will hopefully be fixed in an update soon.

I wonder if the sub-microphone is a contributing factor to the issue. I pray that Samsung is aware of it and will have a fix soon.
