can anyone use Skype with a Bluetooth headset on Verizon Galaxy Note 2?

I just discovered that my Verizon Galaxy Note 2 can't. When using Skype,
even with Bluetooth option selected in Skype menu, the audio is split
almost equally between the Bluetooth headset and the phone's own earpiece
(sometimes it just jumps back and forth by itself)

BTW, I tried it with several Bluetooth headsets from different makers(Jabra, Plantronics, and a couple of no-name ones) All did the same thing...

I don't use the note but I looked into this same situation on my phone and apparently it doesn't support blue tooth within any app or commands out of the phone itself. The speaker still picks up my voice so it seems that the blue tooth was working slightly but this wasn't the case. It may not help you in finding a answer to your particular device but just wanted to let you know it could be similar

I had a similar experience with my Thunderbolt, would not reliably use a BT earpiece with Skype, required restarting the app, restarting the BT radio but eventually did work albeit intermittently.

Unfortunately I dont even have the phone anymore. I moved on to an s4. I could try from my note 8 but thats like night and day
