galaxy s3 the case on the phone and any ear buds i use with mic and buttons

ok now that i got your attention let me get this out. on my galaxy s3 i have a sedio case covering it, when its on i cant use any function with the ear buds controls change track answer end calls stop play nothing but when i take the cover off i have complete control over my ear buds. its weird, do you think my phone is defective???? does anyone also have this problem??? i have tried many other ear buds to see if that was the problem, samsung bose sony v-moda klipch and last but not least my all time favorite which i had just purchased shure 215. and it all comes down to the device (the jack insert seems to be the problem).

I would suspect that the head phone jack does not insert fully with the case on for some reason and it is not connecting well with the phone. But that is just my thought.

No I get what your getting at But I looked at that part when I insert the jack it has plenty of room
