I'm not nearly as good with phones as you guys, so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows how to do this. I have being on my elliptical machine, and the display shuts off. Anyway to fix this?

I remember seeing a post that mentioned an app that would allow you to specify certain apps where you wanted the screen to remain on (bypassing the default timeout) - I'll see if I can find that and update this with that information.
Be aware, though, that you'll be taking a double hit in battery life - the screen is probably the worst offender in battery usage, followed closely by the data connection (which you'll be using unless you've saved your music locally). WiFi usage wouldn't be as bad as a data connection but I don't know what your setup is.
