Hi, everyone. I switched from the GS3 to the Note 4 about 2 years ago. My GS3 was just sitting around collecting dust and I recently gave it to my fiance to use (his first smartphone). He's learning his way around it.

On my Note phone, (4.4.2, recently updated to 5.1), I can press the "menu" button on frame, to the left of the home button, and up pops a list of all running apps, so I can switch between them, close them selectively, or close all. This is similar behavior on my Note tablet.

On the GS3, I press that same button and instead I get a menu to access settings, etc. I am completely spacing out how to get that list of open apps on the GS3, and I can't find the manual.

Help a girl out with some directions?

The S3 is a different phone with different options. Is this what you're looking for?... taken from the Verizon S3 manual.

By the way, I got the manual through a Google search. Anytime you're looking for a manual, just type in the "name of the item", followed by "manual", followed by "pdf"

In this case, since I know it's Verizon, I searched for "Galaxy S3 manual pdf Verizon". HERE'S your manual.
