I posted earlier about looking for a matte case and found a really basic one at Accessory Geeks (great customer service FYI). I then caught the one day 50% off sale on the Body Glove Icon Slide-On Case. I bought it, got it, LOVE IT.
It's hard plastic with a soft feel and felt on the inside to protect your phone. You slip the phone into the top half and then the bottom half slides on, locks together. The advantage over many hard cases is that pressing the power button at the top doesn't cause the two halves of the case to split. The top half of the case is one solid piece.
Just FYI - the "red" version of the case is not a bright red. It's a deep, dark red that looks great.

Now I'm worried about dropping it because I don't want to damage the case!
