Backup Assistant still working?

Possible lame question, but after turning it on by accident I went through and deleted the data and cache and it now shows the setup screen when I click on it, but the sync button shows as green. Anyone else know if this thing is still sucking battery or is it pretty much off and just showing a greens sync button? Dont see it listed under Spare Parts.

It's probably still syncing, I'd do a factory restore just to be safe and skip the setup of the backup assistant.

The ONLY way to turn off back up assistants sync ones its been activated is to do a factory reset. I know it sucks. it got turned on on mine by the vzw rep and I had to do a factory reset to turn it off.
