I'm hoping there's a Verizon employee out there that could possibly help me anonymously if need be. I can't seem to get good answers from the Alltel reps in my area.
I am supposed to be switching to Verizon. Alltel folks said they believe this will be in September. They said I will probably be offered a free upgrade after that.
I have two questions. Any idea how soon that would be after the transition to Verizon (day 1?)? Will I be able to keep my unlimited data plan if I accept their offer?
Right now I'm on a Milestone X that I just picked up a few months ago to get me by until after the transition (my BlackBerry died). That bionic is looking pretty nice and would love to pick one up (and hopefully negotiate the price since I just got a new phone...) IF it is out by the time I get switched over to Verizon.
