I finally got around to updating my Gear VR store and was blown away by the # of new apps (games, apps, and experiences) that are available now.
I counted about 20 new ones, likely some have been available on the S6 longer, but I've not seen all these on my Note 4.
The one I was most excited to see and play is Smash Hit.
Wow!
This is an ideal game for VR. The graphics, music, and sounds are exactly like the 3D version which is a nice touch. I really enjoyed the 3D version for the immersive game play along with the music soundtrack which kind of pulled you in and you forget about everything else around you.
But, the VR version takes all this to a whole new level. Amazing!
You know how you get that little tickly feeling in your stomach when riding roller coasters? This is the first Gear VR game where I get that same exact feeling. It happens at various points but especially when your whole world starts to rotate in front of you as if you are in a corkscrew rollercoaster. Love that feeling!
And (at least for now) the game is free.
