to root or not to root?

so now that i have finally got ICS i want to root, but being brandy new to this realm, what should i go to as for a rom and such?

I'm using Team EOS on my LTE Xoom.

I would like to root with cwm but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong I have adb working I unlocked it with no problems I have my image files in the tools folder and nothing HELP PLEASE...oh and I updated to ICS recently (love it and hate it)

Connect your Xoom to your PC, make sure USB debugging is enabled, open your command prompt, type the location of your tools folder, for me its,,

cd/sdk_tools

Then type

Adb.exe

Next

Adb devices

You should get a string of numbers and letters, then you know your Xoom is recognized.


Make sure you copied all the files from platform_tools to the tools folder or vice versa. All the files need to be in the folder your running commands from.

I am using team EOS tiamat rom as well, I tried the kang cm9 but preferred team EOS.
