I have an HTC Hero S for U.S Cellular and I have heard that Gingerbread may allow users to screen shot without rooting device. I've been looking all over and no one seems to have a legitimate answer.

I have an HTC Hero S for U.S Cellular and I have heard that Gingerbread may allow users to screen shot without rooting device. I've been looking all over and no one seems to have a legitimate answer.

Umm there is an app or two that requires the use of your computer along with the phone to do non rooted screen captures but that is all I'm aware of... The work involved doesn't make any sense though when you could really root your device easier if you need screen capture that bad.

Not to say what you heard isn't true but I don't remember hearing about this capability on any other GB sporting devices.
