Hello everybody.. I just purchased a Moto X and when I first turned on the phone it prompted me to download the new 4.4 kitkat so I did. Then it asked me again later and I did it again thinking maybe I didn't do it but for sure this time I did.. and in the settings it says kitkat for my firmware. Now it keeps asking me! And all i can press is remind me later or update but I've already updated it twice and it is definitely running kitkat! Has anybody heard of this? Thank you!!

You may have updated to 4.4.0, but 4.4.2 is available, which would be a separate update.

Please post your build number (go to settings>about phone) and your carrier.

Back up your data, wipe, and do a factory reset. Your update might have gone screwy when it installed itself. If that doesn't work, exchange it for a new device
